Study on the heat transfer reinforcement of glass fiber/epoxy resin composites by grafting and dispersing graphene oxide

The grafted-graphene oxide/glass fiber/epoxy resin (grafted-GO/GF/EP) and dispersed-graphene (dispersed-GO/GF/EP) composites were successfully prepared by grafting graphene oxide (GO) on glass fiber (GF) with coupling agent random dispersion of GO. A scanning electron microscope (SEM) was employed to characterize the micro structure. heat transfer RVE models grafted-GO/GF/EP dispersed-GO/GF/EP established respectively. Based simulation model, characteristics analyzed. results show that under condition 0.1 vol% GO content heated for 60 s, thermal conductivities are increased 3.48% 82.37% increases paths in EP forms a connected GO-GO network. However, increasing content, agglomeration becomes more obvious. interfacial bonding GO/GF/EP improved agent, which effectively reduced resistance significantly conductivity composites.
